After 10 years in the Teile Studios community in Berlin Tempelhof the new Seres mastering studio was built in winter 2025/2026 in a lush nature spot at the outskirts of Berlin.

Placed between a lake and a forest the location sets the mood and the tone of a natural and organic feeling that is part of the studio’s philosophy.

It’s a carefully planned and built mastering dedicated acoustic concept based on organic materials such as wood, wood fibre insulation, hemp and natural cotton.

The design is a fusion of room acoustic calculations and the idea that a creative and cozy setting is as important as a perfectly flat frequency response.

The room is 40+m² with an open ceiling absorber that’s opening up to a 80m² attic with an angled wood roof through 60-80cm of wood fibre. Which gives the room an acoustic height of up to 5,5 meters while maintaining the controlled absorbed sound of the given space.

Massive 1,2 meter deep wood fiber based super chunk corners and 30cm depths absorber walls around the listening position are giving the perfect setting for the Kii Three speakers to show their full potential and letting you hear the music in an analytical yet natural and open way.
